OK, now that ETS has been approved, what would be a good rollout schedule?

RE: ETS discussion
I would like to request an initial test Thursday during late night hours. As the tests will not have a centralized graphics suite like the alerts, it will be the onus of the broadcasters to inform about the test. The test will last about 30 seconds.

RE: ETS discussion
When Mayfield Television launches on the 20th November, we will do a test on the 22nd.

RE: ETS discussion
Mayfield is a digital channel, I don't think the process applies due to its non regional nature.

RE: ETS discussion
OK, but we would still like to do the service, as we will do news programmes mostly.

Should a standards and developments group be formed?

I'm planning on making 16:9 screens and outlining ETS activation protocol.

RE: ETS discussion
Looking nice!
However I don't know what map you are using there...

Wales particulary, you're using a mixture of current Local Government council areas and the ceremonial counties. The North Wales region you appear to have is neither of these descriptions, but you seem to have the even older Historic counties of Glamorgan and Monmouthshire in South Wales Toungue There should be 8 ceremonial counties in Wales (Gwynedd, Clwyd, Powys, Dyfed, West/Mid/South Glamorgan and Gwent).

Similary in Scotland you're referring to the Regions when you have a map of the Council areas.... but nevertheless, besides me being stupidly picky... it looks rather nice Smile

Sorry, they were the only subdivisions on the SVG file I had.
