western media would like to obtain a re-licence for digital channel 'arena' (previously known as CLASSIX)
the channel will show classic tv from the UK, America, Canada and Australia, as well as some new programmes
platforms: DTT, sky, freesat, cable
we would also like to licence the following channels
Scilly TV:
a local tv channel, broadcasting for 50mins dailyin the Sou'West area
platforms: DTT, cable
ateen:
spin off channel from arena, providing teen programming and music related programming
platforms: sky, freesat, cable

RE: western media - digital channel request
For 50 minutes a day surely an opt-out would be more effective?
I'll get to these after the backlog of other channels.

At this point no, but a final decision will be made in the very near future.

RE: western media - digital channel request
As per the rules that Mark has said, Scilly TV does not require licencing.
I think between Six Mix, CMV and Network SIX the purpose of ateen has been achieved. Carte also experimented with their failed Channel T(een) however if you have a reason to think it will succeed feel free to post it.
Arena is approved however.
