The latest from Viridian Media Industries
From Neo Viridian Tower, in Nottingham, the latest from Viridian Media Industries...
Malpass93 Wrote:I bring bad news (well, for me anyway). Due to coursework, exams, the stress that comes with it and other stuff, there will be no franchise bids this year from Viridian Media Industries. I will still stay on Network Six, and plan for next year.
That message is from TV Forum, and am bringing it to your attention.
Good luck with all other franchise bids!

To avoid confusion with Jonny's Vanquish Media, I would ask for people to refer to us as "VMI" if using the initials, or simply "Viridian".

Viridian looks to the future
In a press conference broadcast live from Neo Viridian Tower, VMI announced a thrilling new project, Indigo Internet, and some changes to go with it.
Quote:As we move forward into the future, we reach into a bold new era of oppertunity. With it, new technologies mean new chances for new ideas. Our new idea, I'm pleased to announce, is "Indigo Internet", a bold new project for a bold new era. More details will follow shortly. Indigo should go online within the year. We also intend to rename the various wings of the company from the generic "Viridian x" to separate names, all under the house style of colours. The production arm will be completely rebranded from "Viridian Productions" to "Sapphire Studios" while the advertising department will become "Alizarin Advertising". The Alizarin name comes from the fact that when alizarin and viridian are mixed, they create a perfect black. That's what we hope to achieve. Perfection.

I'm going to say it now, a merger of any service with SSN is strictly off the cards and Network Control will enter into no further negotiations. The involvement of any outside network services only complicates our franchise based system.

Viridian gets a bit Flash with their new website
In a press conference broadcast live from Neo Viridian Tower, VMI announced the opening of their website here.
Quote:As part of our constant journey to be at the very forefront of modern life, we have grasped the online opportunities with both hands, utilising Flash for our website. The launch of viridian.co.nr is the first step along the way to the Indigo project. We hope that our website will work well.
Quick warning, the site is incredibly slow.

Viridian looks north, bid announced for financially-threatened GTV
In a press conference broadcast live from Neo Viridian Tower, an announcement was made on the rumours linking Viridian Broadcasting Networks with Scottish broadcaster GTV.

I have to say that it yet again managed to crash Firefox
Is it just generally the size of the Flash?

I might go for Weebly pretty soon, Flash is really getting on my nerves. It's not meant to be that slow!
EDIT: I'm currently developing a site on Weebly. No more Flash.
