just wondered if this has been mentioned anywhere else, you can't vote in the areas that you are running in

i think that any one that votes in the area that they are running in should have their vote made void and their licence application turned down

also - what will happen with the areas that have no one running in them?

Generic SIX like before I assume - though with more people than ever now involve I find it hard to believe. CI is the only empty area, it may go out to a re-tender.

If so, AHL will put a bid in!

RE: voting
AFAIK if anyone votes for themselves, 1 vote (their vote) is discarded from the appropriate bid.

The only area with no bidders is CI. A solution to this problem is being devised by Network Control.

That is correct, if anyone votes for themselves, that vote is removed from the count.

As for CI, I plan to put it to re-tender after the voting, when it will attract a few more bidders.

Sounds like a good plan!

Has this Network ever had a problem with users voting for their own bid in the past??

It is good that lots of new people are joining in on the fun! - I have to say that the game has come along way (for those new chaps and chapesses to the fold - I actually came up with the idea! - many many moons ago!, I should have copyrighted the game format really, I could have been rich by now!)

It has happened. Those votes have been discounted by the moderators.

I've accidentally voted for myself, however I've immediately let Orry know, as it's a genuine mistake.

I just realised what I wrote and it sounded wrong (I was tired Embarrassed ) What I meant was in previous voting I did vote for myself once by accident, however I let Orry know this as it was a mistake.
