SixSport, the UK's only free to air sports channel, has revealed what will be shown over the coming month. These include:

Premiership: Everton vs Liverpool, Sheffield Utd vs Blackburn, Bolton vs Middlesbrough, West Ham vs Newcastle, Fulham vs Chelsea, Reading vs Man United, Charlton vs Arsenal.

Championship: Leeds vs Wolves, Southend vs Cardiff, Leicester vs Hull

League One: Nottingham Forest vs Chesterfield, Port Vale vs Doncaster

Rugby: Magners League, plus EDF Energy Cup and European Challenge Cup in October

Cricket: County Championship action

MotoGP: Events in Malaysia, Japan and Australia

Horse Racing: Every Monday and Thursday

Tennis: Davis Cup, China Open

Golf: World Matchplay, Ryder Cup (highlights only)

Our portfolio of channels is to increase on November 1st 2006, with two extra channels for viewers, Six Sport Xtra and Six Sport PPV.

Six Sport Xtra will replace the current interactive service, broadcasting Saturday and Sunday 10am-2am and weekdays from 6pm-12am, with more sporting action for viewers, including a second 3pm football match. The channel will be available to cable and satellite viewers.

Now the latest news from SixSport, the only FTA sports channel in the UK:

SixSport will be launching a Saturday sports show for NetworkSix, currently named Sports Saturday, with the following working timetable:

12.30pm Sport Headlines
12.35pm Highlights of event
1.35pm Live sporting event
3pm Live Premiership/Championship game
5pm 1st Football Results
5.30pm End

SSN Xtra is a new service launching tomorrow, with extra coverage of sport plus some exclusive broadcasts such as Elite League ice hockey. It is available on cable and satellite, however the main channel is available on Freeview 66.

Due to lack of subscribers, SSN Xtra will be closed down on New Year's Eve. The women's football, NBA and ice hockey from the channel will remain on the main channel.

SSN is pleased to announce the purchase of various events for 2007. These are:

6th Winter Asian Games: January 26 to February 4
Rugby World Cup: September 8 to October 20
World Athletics Championships: August 24 to September 2

CONCACAF Gold Cup- June 6 to June 24
AFC Asian Cup- July 7 to July 29
CONEMEBOL Copa America- June 26 to July 15
FIFA Women’s World Cup- September 10 to September 30
Major League Soccer (USA) Season & play-offs - April 2007 to November 18

The new January schedule will be released on Christmas Day, and will be available for download as an excel file.
